Brick Residents Charged With Driving While Intoxicated, Arrested On Warrants

The arrests occurred in Wall Township.

Wall, NJ -- Wall Township police released the following arrests that occurred from June 9 to June 24 that have ties to Brick Township:

JUNE 9

At 8:34 p.m., Patrolman Mason arrested Laila Pabon, 19, of Asbury Park, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 on a charge of for hindering her own apprehension after she gave a false name. She was also found to have an outstanding warrant issued out of the Brick Township Municipal Court. Bail was set by Judge Joseph Defino at $3,000, no 10 percent option. She was later transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in Freehold in default of bail.

JUNE 10

At 2:08 a.m., Patrolman Tancredi arrested Jennifer Schramm, 46, of Brick, on a charge of driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on 18th Avenue in the area of Xanadu Lane. She was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

JUNE 12

At 12:11 a.m., Patrolman Gramlich arrested Carmela N. Genna, 28, of Brick, on charges of driving while intoxicated and assault by auto subsequent to investigating a motor vehicle crash in the area of State Highway 34 and Wyckoff Rd. She was processed on a summons and later released in accordance with John’s Law.

JUNE 20

At 8:39 p.m., Patrolman Brady arrested Kristofer C. Norris, 37, of Brick, on an active warrant out of Brick Township Municipal Court for $500 and an active warrant out of Wall Municipal Court for $500 following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35 in the area of Wall Church Road. He was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of bail.

JUNE 22

At 6:55 p.m., Patrolman Christopher Mason arrested George Arent, 50, of Brick, on charges of driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 34 near Devlin Gymnastics. Wall Police received a 911 call from another motorist regarding an aggressive driver along Route 34. Arent was processed and released in accordance with John's Law.
