Brick Residents Reminded To Lock Cars After Rash Of Burglaries: Police
Don't leave valuables in your car at home or clearly visible as they are an invitation to thieves, police say.
BRICK, NJ — If you're someone who leaves your vehicle unlocked in your driveway, Brick Township police are urging you to change that habit and lock up.
"There has been an uptick in car burglaries from the north side of town. Please lock your vehicles.," police said in a post on Facebook.
Unlocked vehicles account for nearly three-quarters of thefts from vehicles, according to law enforcement reports.
