Brick Residents Sought For Town Boards, Committees
Brick Township residents who are interested in serving on some of the committees and boards that support various town needs can apply now.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township residents who are interested in becoming involved in some of the work that supports the town's functions are invited to apply.
There are upcoming appointments to serve on the following boards and committees:
- Environmental Commission: Responsible for the protection, development and use of natural resources, including water resources located within the township.
- Board of Adjustment: Primary function is to review and decide on applications for zoning variances.
- Sustainable Brick: Advises the Township Council on ways to improve municipal operations with green initiatives that are economically and environmentally sound through research and evaluation.
- Trap/Neuter/Return: Works to control the feral cat population in Brick Township by helping feral cat colony caretakers spay, neuter and vaccinate feral cats.
Residents interested in serving should send an email with a resume and cover letter to Mayor John Ducey before or on Dec. 17.

"These boards not only play an important role in shaping our community, they offer citizens the opportunity to give back and help move Brick Township forward," Ducey said. "I encourage any person interested in serving our community to send their resume to my office this week. Every person will be considered and we will make every effort to make sure everyone who would like to serve has the opportunity to do so."
Resumes and cover letters should be emailed to mayor@bricktownship.net no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 17. While efforts will be made to place citizens on requested boards, it will not be possible in all instances due to availability.
