Brick School Board Changes July Meeting Date

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Board of Education has rescheduled its July meeting, the district announced.

The meeting, originally set for July 14, is now scheduled to be held July 19, according to a pair of meeting notices sent out by the district.

The July 19 meeting is listed as a special meeting because it was not one of the meeting dates announced at the beginning of the year.

"The Brick Township Board of Education will be conducting a Special Meeting on July 19, 2022 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Brick Professional Development Center located at 101 Hendrickson Avenue, Brick, NJ 08724," the meeting notice said. "Please be advised that formal action may be taken at this meeting, and that the public may be excluded from any portion of same pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12."

The possibility of the postponement had been mentioned at the June board meeting, because of scheduling issues.
