Brick School Holding Color Run Fundraiser

BRICK, NJ — The Emma Havens Young Elementary School PTA is holding its annual Color Run on Friday, May 26, the group announced.

The event raises money for the Emma Havens Young PTA and is held at the Drum Point Sports Complex, which is adjacent to the elementary school.

Sign-in for the race is held at the school, located at 43 Drum Point Road, Brick, and begins at 4:30 p.m. The race itself begins at 5:30 p.m. The one-mile course includes stops every quarter-mile to be splashed with color. There are cash prizes in three categories. The fee is $15 and a white T-shirt is included.

'"This event is meant to bring the Brick community together for an enjoyable healthy night out," organizers said.

The event also will include the Kona Ice truck, Playa Bowls, music by B98.5 FM, D Fitness and professional facepainting, organizers said.
