Brick Schools Announce Delayed Opening For Wednesday
Rain in the evening is expected to freeze over by morning. See the school-by-school start times.
BRICK, NJ — Students and staff members in the Brick Township School District will have extra time to get to school on Wednesday, after district officials announced a delayed opening.
The 90-minute delay was announced Tuesday night because of concerns about the morning conditions. Rain falling was expected to freeze overnight, making for what's likely to be a hazardous commute.
The delayed opening means the exams scheduled for Wednesday at Brick Township and Brick Memorial high schools will be moved to Monday, Feb. 4.
