Brick Schools Close For Second Straight Day
Safety issues for walking to bus stops, poor driving conditions cited in closure.

BRICK, NJ -- Break out the sleds again, kids; Brick Township schools will be closed again, the district announced.
“Due to continued snow removal operations and poor driving and walking conditions throughout the district and town, school facilities will not be cleared for Tuesday,” a notice on the district website reads. “Therefore, all Brick Township Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 26th. All scheduled activities for Tuesday have also been canceled.”
The district has one remaining snow day built into the 2015-16 school calendar.

The heavy, wet snow has been a challenge for plows and shovelers alike to move, and sidewalks in many areas had yet to be cleared Monday.
