Brick Schools Closed Thursday; Board Reorganization Postponed
The impending blizzard prompted the decision.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township School District will be closed, Thursday, Jan. 4, due to the blizzard expected to hit the area overnight.
District officials announced the decision Wednesday night after the National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for Ocean County.
The district calendar does not have any emergency closure days built into it, so the day may be added to the end of the school year, according to notes on the calendar. The last day of school had been tentatively set for June 14.
