Brick Schools Issue Weather Schedule Alert

Due to the impending storm, which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue an alert about hazardous driving conditions tonight, Brick Township school officials announced the wrestling match between Brick Memorial High School and Jackson Memorial will be varsity only, with a 4:30 p.m. start.

In addition, the district posted the following statement on its website regarding to scheduling if the storm forces a delayed opening on Thursday:

In the event of a delayed opening on Thursday, January 22, 2015, students at Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School will begin the day at 8:40 a.m. and end the day at 1:30 pm. Lunches will be served.

Both high schools will have their first day of final exams on Friday, January 23, 2015. The second day of exams will be on Monday, January 26, 2015. On Friday, January 23, 2015 exams will be for Block 1 and 2. On Monday, January 26, 2015 exams will be for Blocks 3 and 4.

There will be an 11:30 a.m. dismissal on Friday and Monday. No lunches will be served.
