Brick Set To Unveil New Teen Center Thursday

The teen center construction was funded by a grant and created with input from Brick Township's teens.

BRICK, NJ — Teens in Brick Township who have been looking for a safe place to hang out that their parents will feel comfortable with are finally getting that wish fulfilled.

On Thursday, residents are invited to the grand opening of the Lounge 270 Teen Center, at the township Civic Center, 270 Chambersbridge Road.

The center, funded with a $25,000 grant from the Ocean Partnership for Children, was developed with input from the Mayor's Brick Youth Council and students from Brick and Brick Memorial high schools with the goal of offering not only a place to socialize with games and activities but also as a place for students to get homework help too.
