Brick Sets 9/11 Remembrance And Candlelight Vigil

Brick Township will mark the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with its annual Remembrance Ceremony and Candlelight Vigil on Friday at Windward Beach Park.

The ceremony, at the Angel in Anguish statue, begins at 6 p.m. and will honor the eight people with ties to Brick who were among the nearly 3,000 killed in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The eight from Brick, whose names are memorialized on the base of the statue:
