Brick Sets Ceremony Marking 15th Anniversary Of 9/11 Attacks
The ceremony, honoring Brick residents and others who lost their lives, will be held at Windward Beach Park.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township residents are invited to join township officials in commemorating the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at a ceremony next Sunday, Sept. 11, at Windward Beach Park.
Neighbors, clergy and local officials will gather at the Angel in Anguish monument to pay tribute, with the ceremony beginning at 6 p.m.
Among the nearly 3,000 people who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were 21 people from Ocean County, including eight with ties to Brick Township.

They are: John Badagliacca; Brett T. Bailey; Robert P. Devitt Jr.; Michael D. Diehl; Jon A. Perconti; James Sands Jr.; Thomas Sgroi; and Christopher M. Traina.
The ceremony includes a candlelight tribute to their memories and to the others who were killed that day.
