Brick Street Crimes Unit Arrests 5 People Over 7 Days
The Street Crimes Unit, formed in November 2019, has made dozens of arrests over the 20 months of its existence.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police arrested five people in separate incidents over a seven-day span earlier this month as part of ongoing surveillance by the department's Street Crimes Unit.
On July 2, a call to a home on Hollycrest Drive led to two Manchester residents being arrested, Patrol Officer Victoria Finelli said. Jenna O’Connor, 28, of Whiting, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. Jason Feliciano, 34, of Manchester, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes, and additionally received motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, Finelli said. Both were released on summonses.
On July 7, David Santiago, 59, of Little Egg Harbor, was charged with disorderly conduct after he was found outside The Wine Shoppe, 2746 Hooper Ave., openly consuming alcoholic beverages, she said. He appeared to be highly intoxicated, and fell down on multiple occasions, then began to yell and scream at people who were trying to help him, Finelli said. Santiago was taken to Ocean Medical Center for treatment, Finelli said. The disorderly conduct summons was issued due to his behavior in the parking lot, she said.

Also on July 7, Keith McQuade-Sabat, 40, of Brick, was arrested on Coolidge Drive on an outstanding felony warrant out of Toms River for fleeing from the Toms River Police Department, Finelli said. He was turned over to the Toms River Police Department.
On July 9, Roger Saenz, 31, of Brick, was arrested on a warrant out of Colts Neck during an investigation in the area of Brick Boulevard and Cedar Bridge Avenue, Finelli said. Saenz was released after posting bail.
