Brick Teacher Kristy Soltmann 'Gets Joy Seeing A Child Succeed'

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

My sister, Kristy, has to be the most passionate and kind human being. She genuinely cares about her kids in her class year after year. Kristy gets such joy out of seeing a child succeed, especially since she dealt with her own struggles growing up with learning disabilities. Kristy has come home from work with laughter of stories from her kids in the class, to tears in her eyes, for when a child is struggling or upset. She truly deserves the world and I’m so proud to call her my sister and a phenomenal teacher.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Kristy goes out of her way to go above and beyond for the children in her class to get them whatever services they may need or maybe something as simple as getting a fidget toy for them to help them focus.
