Teen Injured Swimming In Lagoon: Brick Police
Police said the teen went under while swimming in the lagoon and didn't immediately resurface.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township teenager was taken to the hospital after he was pulled from a lagoon Saturday, police said.
Sgt. James Kelly said the 15-year-old boy was swimming in the lagoon when he went under the water.
When he did not resurface, he was found by one of the adults, who pulled him out and people began CPR before first responders arrived and took over, Kelly said.

The incident happened on Toronto Drive in the Seawood Harbor neighborhood on the southern end of Brick, he said.
The boy was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune via ambulance but there was no word on his condition, Kelly said.

Police initially said the boy dove ibinformation superceded the initial information saying the boy dove incorrect.
