The event raises money to help support the program's mission of controlling the feral cat population.

BRICK, NJ -- The Brick TNR organization is holding a gift auction this Saturday to raise funds for its trap-neuter-return program, aimed at controlling the population of feral and unwanted cats.

The gift auction will be held at the Brick Recreation office’s gym at the Brick Civic Plaza, 270 Chambersbridge Road. The doors open at 6 p.m. and no one under 18 will be admitted.

The entry fee is $20 and includes a sheet of Tier One tickets. Those who bring a donation of cat food will be entered into a special drawing, the group says.

Proceeds go to Brick TNR, which was established to help the community by spaying and neutering feral cats. Funds are used to provide food, shelter and medical care for the neighborhood cats of Brick Township. Their mission is to reduce the number of unwanted cats and homeless kittens born each year by spaying and neutering.
