Brick Woman Charged With Shoplifting From Lacey Walmart
Samantha Romer was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants from Brick and Toms River

A Brick Township woman has been charged with shoplifting from the Walmart in Lacey on Sunday, police said.
Samantha Romer, 25, of Mary’s Drive in Brick, was arrested by Lacey Township Police Officer Dimitrios Tsarnas after police were called to the Walmart on Route 9 for a report of an adult female shoplifter in custody, Lacey Police Chief David Paprota said.
Romer is accused of stealing merchandise worth $50, he said. In addition, Romer was found to have three outstanding warrants for her arrest, two out of the Toms River Municipal Court totalling $500 and one out of Brick Municipal Court for $402.

Bail on the shoplifting charge was set at $2,500, and Romer was taken to the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, Paprota said.
