Brick Woman Hurt As Jeep Crashes On Brick Boulevard: Police
Police said the Jeep rolled over several times; the 19-year-old driver was hospitalized.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township woman was injured when her Jeep overturned on Brick Boulevard on Saturday evening, Brick police said.
Michelle E. Piccone, 19, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune following the crash that happened about 8:15 p.m., Brick Sgt. Jim Kelly said.
Piccone was driving north on Brick Boulevard in a 1998 burgundy Jeep when her Jeep veered right for an unknown reason and hit the curb, then went onto the property of the Drum Point Arms apartment complex. The Jeep turned over and rolled several times before coming to a rest at the northeast corner of the Brick Boulevard entrance to the complex, Kelly said.

Piccone suffered lower body and possible internal injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
Brick Township Police patrol units and its Emergency Medical Services along with MONOC paramedics responded, along with the Breton Woods and Pioneer Hose fire companies.

Two northbound lanes on Brick Boulevard were closed for about two hours while the crash was investigated, Kelly said.
Patrolman Jay Lampiasi and Patrolman Joe Farnkopf are investigating. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has information pertaining to the crash is asked to contact Lampiasi at 732-262-1141.
