Brick's Quaker Steak And Lube Marks 4th Anniversary By Giving Back

BRICK, NJ — If you're hungry and you feel like putting that hunger to use to help someone in need, Quaker Steak & Lube wants you to bring your appetite and help them celebrate their fourth year of operation in Brick.

The fourth "Lube-a-versary" of the restaurant, at 1036 Cedar Bridge Ave., is Thursday, and the restaurant will celebrate the day by making it a day of giving, the company said, donating 10 percent of its sales to the Visitation Relief Center in Brick.

The Visitation Relief Center is a a nonprofit community outreach program whose mission is to focus on improving the process of receiving assistance and increasing access to resources in times of adversity or need. The center has served thousands of Ocean County residents who have needed assistance since it started by helping those displaced by Superstorm Sandy nearly four years ago.

Customers who come in Thursday also will have the chance to win a variety of great prizes and giveaways throughout the day, the company said in a news release.

“We are excited to celebrate the fourth anniversary of Quaker Steak & Lube in Brick,” said Victor Russomanno, area director for Quaker Steak & Lube. “Brick Township and its local residents have welcomed us with open arms from day one, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate turning four than by giving back to this great community. The Visitation Relief Center is an outstanding organization that truly has an impact locally, and we look forward to celebrating this milestone with our guests and contributing to a great cause through our combined efforts.”
