Brick's SummerFest Concerts Up In Air In Coronavirus Crowd Limits
The Aug. 6 concert and fireworks have been canceled and the rest of the schedule is up in the air.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials have canceled the Aug. 6 SummerFest concert and fireworks show because of outdoor capacity limits for public gatherings in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The township made the announcement Wednesday afternoon. The remaining SummerFest concerts are tentatively on as scheduled, pending the state’s revision of the gathering guidelines.

"Due to restrictions on the size of crowds, we had to move the series from July when we usually have it," Brick Mayor John G. Ducey said in June, when the concert series was pushed to August.

But at that time, officials said SummerFest 2020 might be modified.
The SummerFest 2020 concerts that remain scheduled are:
- Aug. 13 – Tribute to the '80s & '90s
- Aug. 20 – The Amish Outlaws
- Aug. 27 – The Nerds
In addition to the concerts, the Annual SummerFest Car Show hosted by the Time Capsule Cruisers is scheduled for Sept. 3. The SummerFest Car Show has grown into one of the largest in the state and features cars, trucks and motorcycles from all eras.
