Brief Lockdown At Brick High School After Suspect Flees Police
The suspect was being questioned and took off, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township High School was put on a brief lockdown Monday as police chased a suspect who had fled from detectives, Brick Township police said.
Police Chief James Riccio said the suspect was being questioned by detectives in connection with a burglary but took off on foot in the area of the high school. The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, but only for a short time, as the suspect was taken into custody quickly.
The suspect posed not threat to students or staff, Riccio said.
