Parkway Reopens In Brick After Brush Fire
The Garden State Parkway reopened to traffic early Thursday morning after a fire, the state Department of Transportation said.

BRICK, NJ — The Garden State Parkway has reopened in both directions in the area of Exit 91 iin the wake of a fire, the state Department of Transportation said.
Transportation officials said emergency repairs had been made to the road.

In addition, Burrsville Road was closed in the area, Brick police said in an alert.
The brush fire was sending smoke billowing across the Parkway in the area, Lakewood News Network reported in a tweet. The fire prompted the closure just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
