Town Square Adult Day and Enrichment Center - Brick, NJ

Town Square at the Jersey Shore is a new type of adult day care center, built by professionals with decades of experience in senior care, who are dedicated to creating purpose and meaning in the lives of seniors, including those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our groundbreaking approach to adult day services combines essential senior care, immersive reminiscence therapy, memory care and a thoughtful array of activities. These activities are designed to meet the needs of those experiencing the normal effects of aging and include specifically focused activities for those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This innovative model represents an important step forward for senior care in this country.

Our 12,000-square-foot facility is designed in the era of a 1950s American town. Here, over a dozen “storefronts”, which are spacious themed activity rooms, allow participation in a wide variety of engaging events and activities. Our storefronts include a classic diner, a recreation room, a health club, a learning center and library, a service station with a 1955 Oldsmobile parked in front, a movie theater where members can watch classic movies and shows, and so much more.

The ‘50s theme is more than a nifty design. It’s based on the latest research in reminiscence therapy, to create a meaningful experience for today’s seniors. Studies have shown many therapeutic benefits to invoking the memories we hold from our young adult years, including reduced stress, improved sleep, and improved overall happiness.

As our loved ones age, questions arise around how we’ll care for them. Busy lives can hinder the ability to provide adequate care or support. There are plenty of options for care, but often we’re left wishing we could find something more fulfilling and engaging. It was this need that inspired the Town Square concept.

At Town Square we also realize the importance of educating our community and have dedicated a Family Education Center for fulfilling this purpose.
