Car Seen Near TD Bank Robbery Sought, Brick Police Say

Photos of the vehicle were released as the investigation into Monday's robbery continues.

BRICK, NJ -- A car that was seen in the area of the TD Bank robbery on Hooper Avenue at Beaverson Boulevard Monday is being sought by Brick Township police.

In a Facebook post Monday evening, the department shared photos of the car, a light-colored four-door sedan, seeking tips: "These attached pictures are a vehicle of interest to the TD Bank robbery today. If you think you recognize this vehicle please contact 732-262-1100 or Detective Ulman at 732-262-4611," the post read.

The branch was robbed shortly after 2 p.m. by a white male, 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, who had a beard and mustache and appeared to be wearing a wig of black wavy hair, police said. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the robbery, police said.

He fled the bank on foot toward Hooper Avenue, police said. The man did not show a weapon, and left on foot with more than $500 in cash, according to scanner transmissions.
