Caregiver Canines and BAYADA Home Health Care Pair Up

Toms River, NJ (February 2019) – Caregiver Canines® is excited to announce a partnership with BAYADA Home Health Care located in Toms River. Caregiver Canines® is a visiting therapy dog program offered through Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey a 501c (3) interfaith organization that provides free services to seniors in Ocean and Monmouth County allowing them to remain living independently. Trained, certified therapy dogs are carefully matched with individuals and their caregivers that are over the age of 60 and no longer driving. They provide weekly visits in the comfort of one’s home.

BAYADA on Rt. 37 in Toms River provides personal care services and non-medical assistance with activities of daily living for adults and seniors when a health issue or aging has made it difficult to manage everyday tasks on their own. Carefully matching clients with highly trained aides who not only have the skills and experience to meet their needs, but also who would be a great fit personally sets BAYADA apart. BAYADA’s one-on-one approach to personal home care helps keep clients safe and cared for in the comfort of home, improving their quality of life and giving their families peace of mind.

ABOUT CAREGIVER VOLUNTEERS OF CENTRAL JERSEY (CVCJ)

CVCJ provides vital assistance to seniors, the elderly disabled, veterans, individuals with dementia, and caregivers of loved ones with chronic illness to allow them to remain independent in their own homes.
