ClOTHING DRIVE & TERRACYCLE WASTE COLLECTION FUNDRAISER

EHY PTA has organized a clothing and waste collection drive to keep items out of our landfills, raise community awareness on recycling, and help raise vital funds for student enrichment programs.

This fundraising event will take place on Saturday, 4/16 from 8am-1pm in the back parking lot of EHY (43 Drum Point Rd). Raffle prizes (increase your chances with each donation!) and a 50/50 will take place.

As part of the clothing drive, donated items are asked to be placed in a securely tied kitchen bag. Accepted items include: all clothing, coats, shoes/boots, accessories (hats, gloves, scarves, belts, ties, handbags), bed/bath/home linens (towels, sheets, curtains, blankets). Bikes in working order are also welcome.

With the help of TerraCycle, our waste collection drive will accept many items that are currently non-recyclable here in Brick. TerraCycle takes these waste items and upcycles them into new, usable products. Our organization is given money for each item collected. For more information: www.terracycle.com.

E-Waste items accepted: all cellphones, laptops, e-readers, netbooks, IPads, HP & Canon inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges.

Packaging waste items accepted: packaging (bottles, tubes, caps, etc.) from all brands of skin care, hair care, and cosmetics, and dental hygiene products. We ask that you empty all product.
