Concerned About The PARCC? Check It Out For Yourself
Forum at Ocean County College offers Brick parents, educators chance to take the test, and discuss it

The upcoming PARCC testing has parents and many educators concerned about what it means for schoolchildren in New Jersey.
Is it too challenging? Is it what our kids need? Could we as adults pass the test?
Find out for yourself this Thursday evening at Ocean County College, when the Ocean County Council of Education Associations invites you to ”Take The PARCC.”

The forum, which begins at 6:30 p.m., includes an opportunity to take the test. If you plan to attend, you need to bring your own wireless device -- a laptop or a tablet works best, organizers say. There will be a limited number of wireless devices available but you must request one when you register.
Register by sending an email to OCCEA@verizon.net.

The forum will be held in the main lecture hall in the new Gateway building. From the Hooper Avenue entrance, take the left turn toward Parking Lot 1 but go past that lot to Parking Lot 6. The Gateway Building is the building closest to that lot. More parking is available in Lot 5, just a short distance beyond Lot 6.
