Cops: Shoplifting Suspect Fled Toward Parkway

Police are looking for a suspect in a Saturday shoplifting incident at a department store who allegedly fled toward the Garden State Parkway.

At 10 a.m. Officer Daniel Brennan responded to the Kohl’s Department Store at 5 Route 37 West in reference to a shoplifting incident, police said. Upon arrival the suspect had already fled the store. It was reported that a white male entered the store and approached a sales display.

He removed three Fit Bit wrist bands, with a total value of $500, and left the store without paying. Once he was confronted by loss prevention personnel he fled on foot towards the Garden State Parkway.
