Chapter 1
First, let’s talk about me. I grew up in Brooklyn during the 1950s in the best of times and the worst of times. I would generally say I come from a middle class family but at this age in retrospect it probably, was more lower than middle.
My loving parents were not perfect. They were human and had defects but not of character. They protected me from the pure evil that exists in the world.

During my12 years of Catholic education first, by the Sisters of St Joseph and then by the Sisters of Mercy, I was taught evil existed. But always emphasized was the fact that we all could repent for our “sins” through confession, doing Penance and when appropriate making amends to those we offended.
Starting in Kindergarten I was very principled. I believed wrongdoers should suffer the penalty for what they did. I did not want to be punished for their wrongdoing. When confronted I always admitted to my own misdeeds. I would not let others be punished by my silence.

Now, you are likely wondering why I am writing this in a blog. The answer is simple. I am tired of watching others and I, myself, being punished by those in control of administering the laws, rules and regulations, who do not do so properly or knowledgably.
Other than a numerical suffix there will be no order to what I post. It will not be chronological.
I will use fictitious names to protect myself from unwarranted retribution by the evil ones.
