Dinner Dance Helps Fund Body Armor For Brick Police
The Safety Dance at VFW 8867, hosted by the Brick Township Rotary Club, has been raising funds for Brick police for more than 30 years.
BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Rotary Club and the Brick Township PBA 230 are hosting their annual Safety Equipment Dance to raise funds for protective equipment for Brick's police officers.
The dance is set for Friday, July 21, at VFW Post 8867, 373 Adamston Road.
The event is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and the $35 donation includes a hot and cold buffet and DJ Austin Diamond providing music. There will be a cash bar as well.

All of the proceeds are used to purchase body armor and safety equipment for members of Brick PBA 230, organization officials said.
