According to his post in the Cherry Quay Association Facebook group, Jon Hart, who found this dog, has spoken with friends of that family and they came to look at the lab -- and ultimately determined it is not Katy, the dog missing after that fire.
“Family friends from the house fire stopped by about 30 minutes ago and was not a match. The dog is in good care and will be kept till we find the owners or exhaust all avenues, in that case, there a few families that will take her in and provide her with a good home, she will not be going to the shelter! Thank you everyone for taking the time to share and help us,” he wrote.

PREVIOUSLY: A Brick Township man is trying to locate the owners of this yellow lab who was found Sunday, July 5, on Clubhouse Road.
Jon S Hart posted these photos of the dog on Facebook in the group Cherry Quay Association. As of Tuesday, the dog’s owner has not been located. She has been scanned for a microchip and none was found, he said.
She is wearing a pink breast cancer awareness collar with no tags, Hart said. His vet estimated she is 7 or 8 years old.
