Driver Injured In Jack Martin Boulevard Crash In Brick

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are continuing to investigate a one-car crash on Jack Martin Boulevard that injured a man Tuesday evening.

The driver of the vehicle was initially trapped but was able to extricate himself, Brick Sgt. Joseph Rossi said, and was temporarily in the street.

He was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, Rossi said.

The crash shut down Jack Martin Boulevard near Ocean University Medical Center for more than an hour.

Rossi said authorities are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
