"Drug Use and Abuse Special Edition: Heroin" program for Community offered at the Toms River branch of Ocean County Library

Tuesday, October 13th at 6:30 pm. EXCELLENT presentation given by retired Lt. Joe Pangaro

Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato has called the abuse of heroin an epidemic and has enlisted many local people and agencies in the battle to eliminate it. Ocean County Library will present “Drug Use and Abuse Special Edition: Heroin” at seven branches during the next three months to bring awareness of the issue in communities of Ocean County.

Led by Lt. Joe Pangaro, participants will discuss the history of the epidemic and learn ways they can detect if someone they know is using it. He will also discuss the legal consequences if one is caught using or dealing the drug.

Professional development certificates are available to participants. Ocean County Library is a registered NJ Department of Education Professional Development Provider. Sign-in for the programs begin at 6 p.m. and the programs will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the following locations:
