Drugs, Weapons Seized As Brick Teens Arrested: Police
The teens, 17, and 18, had oxycodone, a handgun and knives, when they were pulled over at a neighborhood under construction, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Two Brick Township teens were arrested Monday after police found oxycodone, THC edibles, a handgun and knifes after police pulled over a vehicle that was driving around a development under construction, police said Wednesday.
Nasir Williams, 18, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested following the stop that happened about 5 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Jim Kelly said.
Officer John Alexander pulled the vehicle over after he saw it leaving Law-Win Court, off Mantoloking Road, where homes are under construction. As he walked up to the vehicle, Alexander smelled an odor of burnt marijuana, Kelly said.

K-9 Scott Smith and his partner, K-9 Echo, responded, along with Brick Officer Tyler Stephenson and Sheriff's Officer Lenkauskas.
The investigation led to the discovery of a .25-caliber handgun, ammunition, an unspecified amount of oxycodone, two knives, marijuana, THC cartridges and THC edibles, Kelly said.

Williams was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a weapon (knife), distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a vehicle and trespassing. He was released on summonses pending a court date, Kelly said.
The 17-year-old was charged with possession of a weapon (firearm), unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon (knife), possession of marijuana, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and possession of a large-capacity magazine. He was being held at the Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center, he said.
