Eat. Drink. Dance. Help Buy Vests For Brick Police Officers

Eat, drink and dance the evening away tonight at the 31st Annual Bullet Proof Vest Fund Dance presented by the Brick Township Rotary Club.

The fundraiser has enabled the Rotary Club to pay for body armor for every single Brick Township police officer over the years, according to a WOBM radio interview with Rotary vice president Kurt Meier last year.

Because vests expire and need to be replaced, the Rotary Club continues to hold the fundraiser.

It begins at 7 p.m. at the VFW on Adamston Road. A $30 ticket, available at the door, gets you a hot and cold buffet and entertainment by The Infernos, and a cash bar is available.
