Elks Charity Ball Aims To Help 4-Year-Old

The girl, Quinn Estelle, needs specialized therapy to help her overcome a chromosomal disorder.

LAKEWOOD, NJ -- The Lakewood Elks' Special Children's Committee is hosting its annual Charity Ball on Saturday, May 7.

This year the event will assist a local girl, Quinn Estelle, 4, who has a rare chromosomal disorder and is unable to walk or crawl. There is therapy available to treat the disorder but it costs $13,000; the ball aims to assist Quinn and her family.

The event is 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Lakewood Elks Lodge 1432, 711 West Kennedy Blvd., Lakewood. Donation is $50. The event includes appetizers, dinner, dessert, dancing and a gift auction.
