1st Annual Brick Township Green Fair

Come celebrate EARTH DAY 2011 at the 1st ANNUAL BRICK TOWNSHIP GREEN FAIR!!

The Green Fair will be a community-wide event designed to educate, enlighten, and encourage people of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds to adopt more sustainable, environmentally-and-socially responsible lifestyles. 

More than 50 exhibitors, vendors, and crafters will be on-site, plus activities for all ages, as well as expert presenters on a variety of “green” topics, will make this a fun-filled and educational day for Brick Township.  And don’t forget to try your luck at winning some great eco-raffle prizes!

BMAC will also be hosting their annual Brick Youth Services Day Celebration outdoors at the high school on the same day in conjunction with the Green Fair.

11: 30 am - Dr. Maurie Cohen, New Jersey Institute of Technology, “From Sustainable Development to Sustainable Well-Being”;

1:00 pm - Robert Karl, Brick Township MUA will present on “Water Resources and Sustainability” and

2:00 pm - Rich Mohr, Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County, “Sustainable Lawn and Garden Practices”;

Plus a children’s story time and the short film, “The Story of Stuff” will also be available for viewing throughout the day.
