EAKFEST is a Halloween fundraising event that benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic fibrosis (cf) is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems. The current median age for survival is 37.
The CF Foundation has paved the way for many life-improving and life-saving treatments with 90% of every dollar going directly into research and programs that help the patients and families who are living with this horrible disease on a daily basis.
EAKFEST was created by the Eak family when their daughter, Jacqueline was diagnosed with cf in 2006. The event consists of kiddie rides, carnival games, food, music, hayrides, and best of all... The Haunted Trail. Guests are led by ghoulish guides through a wooded path where monsters of all kinds await!
