Ex-Jackson Football Coach Gets 90 Days In Theft Of Student Funds: Report
Breaking: Reggie Lawrence, who once coached at Jackson Memorial, admitted stealing $14,500 at WIllingboro HS to feed his gambling addiction.

A former Jackson Memorial High School football coach has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after admitting he took $14,500 in student funds at Willingboro High School to feed his gambling addiction, according to a report.
Reginald "Reggie" Lawrence, 47, who coached the Jaguars football team from 2000 to 2002, also received two years of probation under the sentence imposed by Superior Court Judge Christopher Garrenger at the Burlington County Courthouse in Mount Holly, according to the Burlington County Times report.
The report said Lawrence's sentence was less than what had been agreed to in a plea deal reached in September, which set a term of 364 days in jail and an unspecified amount of probation.

Lawrence pleaded guilty in September to third-degree misapplication of entrusted property, admitting that he stole the money between October 2015 and April 2016, while he was serving as an adviser for the Class of 2016, for his own use. The money was paid by students for activities such as prom and the class trip, according to the report.
Lawrence led Jackson Memorial to back-to-back NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV titles in 2000 and 2001, and after the 2002 season left to coach at Pennsauken. He coached at Willingboro for five seasons but was ousted as football coach after the 2013 season, but continued to teach at the school.
