Farmers Market Returning To Brick

BRICK, NJ -- Brick residents who have been waiting for the township's Farmers Market -- patiently or impatiently -- have just a couple more weeks to wait: the Brick Farmers' Market returns May 21.

The market, which started with a grant last spring and grew in popularity through the summer, will again be held at Windward Beach Park on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

The market features organic products, hand-made goods and produce from Jersey Fresh farms. The first week's vendors include Lave handmade soaps, baked goods from the Scone Shoppe and Mee Wee's, pasta and sauces by Caldino's, gourmet products from High Mountain Foods and seasonal produce.

The Brick Farmers' Market website includes updates weekly on vendors and more.

The market is scheduled for every Saturday from May 21 through Sept. 17, with the last one scheduled for Oct. 1.
