Fire Closes Mantoloking Bridge, Roads In Brick

BRICK, NJ — A structure fire has closed roads and the Mantoloking Bridge on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

In an alert sent around 3 p.m. on Friday, police advised residents to avoid Mantoloking Road between Scoop Road and Quail Run due to a working structure fire.

According to police, some roads are closed due to the incident, though authorities did not specify which roads in the alert.

In a text sent to residents, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said Mantoloking Bridge will be closed until further notice due to a fire incident.
