Fire Erupts At Lakewood Construction Site: Report
Breaking: The blaze on Prospect Street is putting out smoke that can be seen for miles.
LAKEWOOD, NJ — Firefighters from Lakewood Township and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service are battling a fire at a construction site on Prospect Street in Lakewood Friday evening, according to a report.
The Lakewood Scoop is reporting the fire started as a result of an explosion at the site. Video on the news site shows a column of thick, black smoke billowing into the air.
Joe Morgan, who shared video of the fire, said it was on Prospect near Massachusetts Avenue.
