Firefighters Battling Woodlands Blaze In Jackson: Police
The fire has resulted in the closure of Don Connor Boulevard, police said.
JACKSON, NJ -- Firefighters are batting a blaze in a wooded area in Jackson Township and have shut down the road that leads past Jackson Memorial High School, police said.
The Jackson Township Police Department Facebook page said firefighters from N.J. State Forestry Services and Jackson Fire Station 56 are battling a fire, which is in a wooded area between Don Connor Boulevard and East Veterans Highway, near the N.J. Forest Resource Educational Center.
Don Connor Boulevard is currently closed to all traffic between Bowman Road and the Jackson Memorial High School, the post said.
