Football: Brick Dragons Roll To Win Over Southern

A week after beating crosstown rival Brick Memorial, the Brick Township High School football team took the ride down the Parkway to Manahawkin and continued to display its strong offense, beating Shore Conference Class A South rival Southern Regional 41-6.

Brick receiver Ja’Sir Taylor caught two touchdown passes from quarterback Carmen Sclafani and Taylor rushed for two more to power the Dragons, according to the Shore Sports Network. Southern was coming off a 21-14 victory over Toms River East in the Rams’ opener.

Brick hosts Toms River East next week.
