Football: Brick Makes Lacey Pay For Dragons' Sins

Brick’s football team was sure to make someone pay for its mistakes against Wall last week in the Green Dragons’ first loss of the season.

The unlucky souls? The Lacey Lions.

The Dragons (5-1, 5-0) got four touchdowns from quarterback Carmen Sclafani and Jay Obenauer blocked a punt and returned it for a special teams touchdown in Brick’s 41-7 victory in the Shore Conference Class A South game on Friday night, according to the Shore Sports Network.

Sclafani ran for two touchdowns and completed passes to Simon Bingelis for an 80-yard score and to Ja’Quez Johnson for a 30-yard TD. Ray Fattaruso rushed for a 25-yard touchdown as well for the Dragons.

Brick travels to Colts Neck next Saturday for a 1 p.m. nondivisional game.
