The Dragons fall to previously winless Wall in double overtime

Brick came back to earth a little bit on Friday night, suffering its first loss of the season to Wall, 28-27 in double overtime in a nondivisional Shore Conference game.

The Dragons (4-1, 4-0) had to rally after spotting the Crimson Knights a two-touchdown lead. Quarterback Carmen Sclafani scored from 7 yards out 3:30 into the third quarter, and then tied the game with a 40-yard pass to Ja’Sir Taylor with 1:49 to go.

In the first overtime, Wall and Brick traded scores, with Wall going first and Brick answering. In the second overtime, Brick went first and scored after gambling on fourth-and-3 and getting the first down. But Brick missed the PAT, making it 27-21.
