Friends Rally To Help Brick Graduate Facing 3rd Cancer Diagnosis
William Williams has battled kidney and prostate cancer, and now is fighting a tumor in his stomach. A party is set to help with expenses.

BRICK, NJ -- Friends are rallying to help the family of a Point Pleasant man and Brick Township High School graduate who is battling cancer.
William “Billy” Williams has been battling cancer since 2011, when he was diagnosed with kidney cancer, according to a GoFundme page he set up to help raise funds to pay the mounting medical expenses. He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2014, and this year, a tumor was discovered in his stomach that has required treatment with radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.
“I am a 53-year-old mason who’s unable to work,” he said.

“Let’s make it a party!” the organizers wrote.
The event begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. and costs $20 at the door.
“Although this is a physically, emotionally and financially difficult time for Billy and his family, we intend to make this event a good time in spite of all the hardship!” they said.
