The Brick Farmers’ Market is being funded through a grant awarded to the township by the United States Department of Agriculture. The intent is to showcase farm-fresh produce and other locally produced foods such as pickles, relishes, pastries, baked goods and more. There will be flowers and plants in advance of Mother’s Day, according to a news release from the town.
“We are excited to bring a Farmers’ Market to Brick.” Mayor John Ducey said in the release. “This market will encourage the community to eat fresh and buy local.”
