Gift Drives Get A Helping Hand From Brick Teens

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township teens shared their time and gift-wrapping talents recently to help out the township's Toys for Tots and Senior Services programs in getting gifts to those in need this holiday season.

The members of the Mayor’s Student Advisory Committee helped the Brick Township PBA Local 230, wrapping dozens of gifts that were donated for children.

The "students spent hours wrapping countless gifts that will be distributed to Brick families to help make their holidays brighter," town officials said.

Seniors who are homebound are receiving gifts collected by the Brick Recreation Youth Service Program.

The teens who participate in the Youth Service program collected the gifts and wrapped them. The gifts will be delivered to homebound seniors in the community by the township's Senior Services staff.

The Youth Service Program welcomes township young people in grades 6 through 12 who want to make a difference through service. For more information on the program, call 732-262-1075.
