The Green Party of Ocean County (GPOC) has endorsed the March for Science, and will be participating on Saturday, April 22, at the official satellite march in Trenton.

The Green Party of Ocean County recognizes the important role science plays in the formation of policy. We call for all Americans to support fact based policies, the scientific community, and science education. We encourage educators to teach their students the importance of critical thought, free inquiry, and unbiased research.
“Science is real,” says Al Clayton, Chairperson of GPOC. “It should factor into every policy decision those in power make. The best thing about the scientific process is if some piece of evidence is discovered that contradicts theory, scientists say, ‘Oops! We were wrong. Let's figure out why.’ When is the last time a politician said that?”
